Erik, Jamie, Megan, Andrew and I attended the co-op retreat this weekend at Circle Pines Center. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for these retreats. This weekend in particular could not have come at a better time. It’s good to get away from everything once in awhile, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than camping, spending time with amazing people, eating delicious food, singing, and having productive and inspiring conversations. We got to hang out with some familiar faces from the previous retreat, as well as several new attendees from co-ops located all over Michigan. I can’t wait to share all of the ideas and information we received over the past few days. We will be posting links to minutes, general notes, and other resources soon.
Big big thanks to Megan and Jamie for putting the agenda together and facilitating the meetings! All of your hard work is greatly appreciated. Also, big thanks to Circle Pines for letting us hold our 3rd retreat here.
If you have not had a chance to visit Circle Pines Center, you are missing out. It is an absolutely beautiful place. I highly recommend spending at least a couple nights camping out here this summer. Next month, they will be holding the second annual Buttermilk Jamboree. The music line-up is fantastic! There will also be many great workshops, and of course, you get to spend the weekend camping. They are still looking for volunteers, so please contact Rachel about helping out if you can. Even if it’s just a few hours, they would greatly appreciate it. Hope to see you all there!
